Ingalora Dwyer was born and raised in Austria. In 1966 she immigrated to Canada and since 1995 has been living in San Miguel de Allende.
Education:
Photography studies in Vienna (Austria) and Montreal (Canada). Art Studies in Toronto (Canada), Vancouver (Canada) and San Miguel de Allende (México).
Early Childhood Education Diploma obtained from Langara College Vancouver, Canada.
Work Experience:
1966-1980 Ingalora worked as a photographer shooting mainly children’s portraits, weddings and architectural work.
1980-1995 Ingalora conducted creative workshops for adults, seniors and pre-school children.
She also was very active (Set design, set construction and painting, creating costumes and props, stage managing, directing, acting) with Deep Cove Stage Society, a community theatre group in North Vancouver Canada.
Ingalora has exhibited her art work in Vienna, Rome, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico City and Dolores Hidalgo.
She is currently building her own studio with gallery in San Miguel de Allende. She likes to work with mixed media, combining photographs with paintings and exploring new materials. Ingalora also is working on commissions painting
colorful portraits of people’s pets on either canvas, wood, furniture or plates.
Her work is in private collection in Austria, Italy, Canada, USA, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and Mexico.
Presently her work is displayed at her Studio/Gallery (San Miguel de Allende), Hotel Casa Linda (San Miguel de Allende) and at Galería Forma y Color (Dolores Hidalgo).
