Admission is free to Montreal’s newest pop culture art gallery

A new contemporary pop culture art gallery has opened in Montreal.

the Allegory Gallery features original works of art by various local and international artists (both emerging and mid-career) who create pop and fine art.

“Our gallery is different from the others,” Allegory told Daily Hive. “Our goal is really to introduce local artists from Montreal and Canada. The gallery says it has an “artistic rotation” that changes every two months.

The gallery is free to enter and specializes in pop culture, modern and mixed media.

The gallery says that guests can “step into a peaceful oasis of light, space and inspiration.” The gallery urges art lovers to have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee inside “beautifully lit rooms that provide a flexible environment” that brings works of art to life.

Allegory says it is committed to presenting a “bold program of exhibitions” and investing in artists by commissioning new works and taking the community on a “shared journey of creation and passion for art.”

The gallery claims that all of its artists present a unique story and offer an original artistic journey to follow.

With works ranging from Carey Price to a diamond-covered Marilyn Monroe, the Allegory Gallery houses a wide range of works of art including paintings, sculptures and mixed media.

Each work of art comes with a certificate of authenticity and an individual art appraisal. Works of art are also for sale.
