Kostas Tsimikas wrote his name in Anfield folklore by scoring the winning penalty against Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
After the victory, the Greek Scouser celebrated the victory with his teammates and one of these photos saw him with Alisson Becker posing with their medals in the locker room:
Spotting this image as a good excuse for some artwork, local artist John Charles took to his social media to share updates on his creation.
The result was incredible and allowed the artist to go meet our No. 21 at his house and present him with the painting.
After meeting the left-back, he took to his social media to write: “If you had told me 5 years ago that today I would be sitting with @paulsmithjnr @tsimikas21 and his partner Christina drinking Greek coffee, I would have said you were crazy! But here it is, I have to personally deliver my latest painting @liverpoolfc. We talked about coffee, fishing, boxing, art and my sobriety!
“Days like this I have to pinch myself, hard work really pays off!” I feel blessed to be able to create art and meet some amazingly lovely people along the way.
‘@paulsmithjnr thanks for arranging this mate absolute sir
‘@tsimikas21 & Christina, thank you for your hospitality and kindness
