The art exhibition to offer opens in a festive atmosphere at Jingle on the lake
Saturday December 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Reston Art Gallery and Studios (RAGS) presents the annual Holiday Sparkle of art show on offer – authentic, local works of paintings, mixed media, jewelry, fine art, mobiles, maps and more created by the 8 artists of RAGS – from December 4th until 31st.
“Among the many things learned over the months of the pandemic, we are all looking for authenticity, local products, unique experiences and want to support small businesses,” said Pat Macintyre, gallery owner and director. “We have it in abundance here at the Reston Art Gallery and Studios. We invite everyone to visit and enjoy our work every weekend.
The show opens the day Santa Claus arrives at Lake Anne Plaza for Jingle on the lake and all are welcome to enjoy the warmth and joy at the gallery from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Holiday Sparkle is open on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday or by appointment. (Closed on Saturday, December 25.)
Also from 10:00 a.m. on December 4 to Jingle on the lake, children are invited to the annual tradition of making their own ornaments in the plaza outside RAGS, free of charge, with “Miss Pat” Macintyre (as thousands of families call her).
