A FAMOUS artist from Manchester has been busy at Birchwood College this year as part of his ‘massive’ transformation.
The works of Justin Eagleton are among the exciting changes taking place at Brock Road College.
As part of the transformation, a new collegiate house system is in place that underpins the college’s key values of aspiration, knowledge and kindness.
There are three houses in the system and an inspirational icon represents each.
David Attenborough represents knowledge, Malala Yousafz represents aspiration, and Marcus Rashford represents kindness.
The college feels “very lucky” to have obtained the support of Justin who used their creative expertise to visually support their philosophy and culture.
Justin, a professional artist, illustrator and designer with over 25 years of experience, said: “The artwork covers many aspects that concern young adults today and presents key role models to enhance the experience of children. students.
“Inspirational people working with inspiring people to improve outcomes for all who walk through the doors of this special and thriving college.
“I am a very proud designer.
Principal Emma Mills said: “Birchwood College is thrilled with this work of art and what it represents.

As part of its transformation, Birchwood College has introduced a wide range of new courses.
Plans are also underway for the exciting new T-Level program to be launched in September this year for health and science.
He has already secured ‘fantastic’ placements in the T-level industry as well as a grant to complete nearly £ 400,000 of property developments to further improve the college’s facilities, including a new science lab and lab. sporty at the cutting edge of technology.
