Lucas Mansion Art Gallery will present an exhibiting artist | New

HIDDENITE – The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center Lucas Mansion Gallery welcomes Kathy Rosenberger as a featured artist in the Lucas Mansion Art Gallery for June and July 2022. She will have an opening reception on Saturday, June 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Lucas Mansion 2nd floor art gallery located at 316 Hiddenite Church Road, Hiddenite.

Rosenberger is no stranger to the artist side of the world. Growing up in a family with parents who themselves were gifted and accomplished artists was enough to fuel her longing for a more creative side of life. His mother was an excellent oil painter and his father a commercial artist who even wrote a book on drawing. Kathy has made incredible achievements herself. She was the recipient of the Stevens Family Fellowship in 2013 and was named Artist-in-Residence at the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum in 2016. Kathy’s work has been exhibited and exhibited in several locations, including Jones House in Boone , City of Morganton Offices, Grace Hospital in Morganton, Bethlehem Library in Hickory, and many other locations.

Kathy is also a mother of nine children. She homeschooled them and also passed on to them the family’s passion and love for art and expression.

Kathy has taught elementary art for over two years and now teaches adult workshops on textured mixed mediums, watercolor pencils and whimsical garden watercolors. She really excels in watercolor, but she also enjoys creating with acrylics and mixed media. Kathy enjoys using bright, vibrant colors in her work.

Come meet the artist and see all the amazing art that is bursting with color and creativity! Maybe it will also inspire you to create with a touch of color!

The gallery is free and open to the public on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Lucas Mansion and the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center Educational Complex are handicapped accessible.
