Soon the iconic paintings of legendary painter Maqbool Fida Husain will be immortalized as NFT. Hefty Art, an initiative of Hindustan Talkies, Hungama and Polygon have partnered exclusively with The Estate of Husain to broadcast the famous works of MF Husain via NFTs.

Speaking about his father’s work being dedicated to posterity via NFTs, contemporary multimedia artist Owais Husain said the move will play a significant role in transforming art markets around the world. “My father, during his long and prolific career, had the pulse of innovation and what was to come. As an artist, I’m happy and excited to showcase my father’s iconic artwork in a new avatar via NFT on Hefty Art. Through the breadth of his brushwork, Husain changed the face of modern art in India, thereby taking his place in history,” he said.
