Have you ever looked at a desert canyon and wished you could capture it on canvas? The 29 Palms Art Gallery offers a weekend class that can help you get there. Reporter Heather Clisby has details…
Our captivating desert views inspire many to create, which is why 29 Palms Art Gallery is offering a class, “Painting Canyons,” on Saturday, March 26, from noon to 3:00 p.m.
Open to adults and teens, from beginners to advanced intermediates, art instructor Don Britton will use photos of desert terrain as reference and students can bring their own. If you need help gathering these supplies, contact the gallery directly: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members and some scholarships are available for teenagers. Class sizes are limited to 15 students, first come, first served.
